Position Overview:

Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Lines Placement Team to market property and casualty insurance programs for both new and renewal accounts.
- Collect, analyze, and organize relevant data; prepare submissions and applications, negotiate coverage terms, and develop proposals for potential clients.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective client and policy information in the agency management system.
- Ensure timely and efficient processes during the new business and renewal remarketing phases, including exposure analysis and negotiation of coverage offers.
- Communicate effectively within the team, including producers and segment leaders.
- Review insurance policies and contracts, providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive insurance submissions, including specifications for each coverage line and necessary documentation.
- Rate risks using insurance carrier websites and internal tools.
- Manage Broker of Record Letters, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Analyze client exposure and loss data using Excel, developing financial models as needed.
- Engage with prospects and carriers via phone, attending meetings as required.
- Foster relationships with various insurance companies and wholesalers.
- Update pipeline reports for accounts being marketed.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain licensing requirements, including ongoing education.
- Facilitate account placements with strategic carrier partners.
- Participate in seminars and educational activities to enhance job expertise and product knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Lines, preferably within the middle market or large business segment.
- Experience working with brokers/agents, including marketing accounts to carriers, with strong knowledge of California markets.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Licensed in property and casualty insurance.
- Previous experience with Applied Epic is a plus.
- Professional designations such as CIC, ARM, AAI, or CPCU are preferred.
