Pulmonology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Specialist to join our medical team as a professor at Creighton University School of Medicine. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our Interventional Pulmonology program and contribute to the education of future healthcare professionals.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert interventional pulmonology services, including procedures and inpatient consults. They will work closely with our thoracic surgery team, lung cancer screening team, and advanced pulmonologists to provide comprehensive patient care. Experience with robotic bronchoscopy is preferred, as it will support the advancement of our existing Ion robotic bronchoscopy program.
Responsibilities- Provide supervision to nurse practitioners and rotating trainees
- Participate in clinical education of medical students and residents from Creighton University Health Sciences Campus - Phoenix
- Contribute to clinical and bench research efforts
- MD or DO degree
- ABIM certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- AABIP certified or eligible in Interventional Pulmonary
- Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting the position

Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
