Prairie Band Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, including routine eye exams, diagnoses, and treatment of various eye conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough eye exams to diagnose and treat various eye conditions, including refractive errors, cataracts, and glaucoma.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, as needed.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as anterior segment foreign body removal and corneal debridement.
- Use topical and oral medications to manage ocular pathology and trauma.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and ophthalmology to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Active unrestricted license to practice optometry in the United States.
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
- Basic Life Saver certification.
- Valid driver's license.
This is a full-time position with a standard 8-hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with a half-hour non-paid lunch break. The position does not include weekends and holidays.
