Genesis10 is seeking an IT Project Manager with expertise in regulatory compliance to lead projects for the financial industry in Jersey City, NJ.

This is a 12+ month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on projects for various regulatory, risk, and other initiative projects
  • Collaborate with teams across the Credit Risk Platform, including Senior Technology managers, Senior Business Leads, Program Managers, Change Release management coordinators, scrum masters, and other key team members
  • Ensure the execution and delivery meets the Stakeholder's expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost
  • Manage and communicate all RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and work through each item in detail
  • Work with teams to clearly communicate objectives and formulate and execute delivery plans
  • Manage all timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliveries, etc.
  • Initiate and maintain various relationships with project team members, Stakeholders, peers, managers, business, Risk, and others
  • Collaborate and communicate with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities
  • Complete all required reporting and communications for Program Managers, Senior Managers, weekly PMO meetings, and other governance routines related to the status tracking/monitoring of all projects
  • Complete/review metrics on multiple project status, delivery, accomplishments, and provide good visibility on overall project health
  • Provide program level reporting to track projects/deliverables in terms of release dates and financial management
  • Updating and/or coordinating all changes needed for our enterprise PPRT tool (program/project reporting tool)
  • Complete various weekly/monthly project/program decks, as well as senior management presentations
  • Assist with other horizontal and/or team specific work as requested (including reporting, DQ reports, review or compile various metrics, assist with PI Planning, assist with coordination of technology costs/estimates for new work, coordination of monthly roadmap and accomplishment updates, etc.)
  • Defining norms/agreements and enforce the agreements taking them through adoption
  • Developing execution strategies/plans while tracking deliverables and milestones against them
  • Visualization, measuring and reporting of Project health using PMO tools and Agile indicators

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of proven working experience in project management
  • Experience in working with Agile Development Methodology and Release Train teams
  • Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, and design
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong experience on work management tools like Jira, Confluence, GIT Hub, etc.
  • Strong working experience for adherence to change management standards, define tollgates, executive reporting, and building artifacts to evidence for project tollgates
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical terms
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience working with business and technology teams governed by regulatory requirements
  • Ability to provide input for financial planning with good understanding of variances
  • Working knowledge of products, services, business flows, and understanding of financial context
  • Ability to comply with client standards for information security and business architectures
  • PMP Certification
  • Prior experience and familiarity with Regulatory reporting
  • Experience with Hadoop (or ability and enthusiasm to learn quickly)
  • Prior experience with various client reporting tools such as JIRA, PPRT, etc.

Pay Range:

$55.15-$63.15
