Position Overview- Specialty: Med Surg
- Discipline: RN

- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
Job Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will work on the 4th Floor, focusing on Med/Surg nursing duties. The typical shift is from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a schedule of 12x3, including weekends as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Valid West Virginia RN License
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- BLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- ACLS Certification is advantageous
- Experience with peritoneal dialysis is highly preferred
Additional Information:
- Floating to other MedSurg and MedSurg/Oncology units may be required.
- Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic post-ops, basic neuro post-ops, and various general post-operative cases.
- Facility features 52 private rooms with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-7.
- Charting is conducted using Allscripts - Sunrise.
