The Collation Operator is responsible for assembling the 'sandwich' of printed sheets and overlay materials, preparing products for the lamination process and subsequent operations.



Hourly rate - $20.75

Shift differential - $3.11

Final hourly rate - $23.86

Schedule:
Friday-Sunday 4:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

Key Duties:
Interprets shop floor routers and workmanship manuals, adhering to relevant specifications.

Properly loads sheets into the machine and removes any nonconforming materials for rework or disposal.

Conducts routine cleaning of equipment to prevent contamination and maintain operational standards.

Requirements:


High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and understand simple instructions in English, both written and verbal. Capable of writing basic reports and effectively presenting information in small group settings.

Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

Must prioritize security and safety protocols.

Reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and teamwork is essential.

Must be able to stand for extended periods without sitting.

Basic English communication skills are necessary.

Physical

Requirements:


Work is primarily conducted in a standing position, requiring walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

The work environment is noisy and may necessitate the use of ear protection.

Good eyesight, hand/eye coordination, and normal color vision are essential for ensuring product quality and maintaining safety standards.

Full use of hands and fingers is required to operate precision or semi-precision equipment, tools, or instruments that demand dexterous movements.

Attention to fine details is crucial, as the work can be mentally and physically demanding.

Work involves interaction with rapidly moving machinery, requiring quick adjustments to minimize waste and time.

Shifts may require overtime to meet production deadlines.
