Position Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in our Skilled Unit, you will be essential in promoting the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your role will encompass:
  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations and formulating personalized care strategies.
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Monitoring and documenting vital signs and other critical health information.
  • Providing wound care and executing various nursing interventions.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Supervising and mentoring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering high-quality care.

Compensation:
The starting base rate is $40.32/hr, with the potential to earn up to $51.56/hr, including various shift differentials.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A valid State of Maine License as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • An interest in the nursing needs of the elderly and chronically ill.
  • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
