Job Title: Senior Payroll Lead

Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Payroll Lead to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the company's success.

Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in job classifications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Coordinate with the HR team to ensure accurate benefits administration and record keeping.
  • Prepare and deliver payroll reports to management, highlighting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a multi-state environment.
  • Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and wage and hour laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
