Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Emerald Coast Autism Center Inc. This is a full-time position, requiring the employee to work a minimum of 32 hours a week (Monday-Friday) and a maximum of 40 hours a week.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $42,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary:

This position involves working one-to-one with students diagnosed with autism and related disabilities, implementing ABA therapy under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, self-motivated, have effective time management skills, observation skills, analytical skills, and be a team player.

  • Implement ABA therapy sessions with students, following established treatment plans
  • Document daily progress and data collection using Catalyst software
  • Communicate effectively with parents, BCBAs, trainers, other therapists, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality about clients, families, and center operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess a credential as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT), CPR, and CPI
  • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
