Master Electrician

Under the supervision of a senior electrician, this position is responsible for performing electrical work for the Utilities Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of electrical problems affecting water and wastewater facilities.
• Maintain and coordinate daily work schedules to meet goals and deadlines.
• Work with a team to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• State of Texas Master Electrician License.
• Experience in an electrical trade and/or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including extreme weather conditions, confined spaces, and heights. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely and efficiently in these conditions.
