Neurology Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurology team in Belmont, Massachusetts. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of innovative treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Provide immediate and long-term nursing care needs for patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine within the standards of the department, hospital, and regulatory agencies.
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure the smooth flow of patients through the treatment process.
- Conduct pre-treatment assessments, treatment monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management for individuals.
- Communicate patient condition and need for altered care with the treatment team and prioritize patient care needs.
- Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients and initiate and continue pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation, and EKG monitoring throughout treatment and recovery.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic computer skills to use electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes.
