Bulk Driver Job Description

Advance Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Bulk Driver to join our team in Waterloo. As a Bulk Driver, you will be responsible for delivering bulk and packaged products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain the unit daily, reporting any needed repairs to the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Make assigned bulk or van deliveries, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Keep the unit, trailers, and equipment clean and in good working order.
  • Deliver and pick up products and containers as assigned by the Logistics Coordinator.
  • Verify shipping papers and ensure the load is correct, including proper use of BOLs and Certificates of Analyses.
  • Follow assigned delivery sequence and report any deviations immediately.
  • Comply with all company work and safety rules, motor carrier safety regulations, state weight laws, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL and current DOT physical certification with ABCD/NH endorsement.
  • At least 1 year of tanker driving experience or 5+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
  • Hazmat endorsement and experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations.
