About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled PCD Assembly Technician to join our team at The Toro Company. As a PCD Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our paint line carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hang and unhang parts on paint line carriers according to standard work procedures
  • Perform visual checks on all parts to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Operate electric or pneumatic hoists to set heavier painted parts on carts in advance of assembly
  • Use pallet jacks or forklifts to move parts to storage areas
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure it is in safe working order
  • Strive to meet established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards
  • Continuously seek to improve production methods, equipment performance, and overall quality of product
  • Ability to learn a variety of different product lines
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow standard work and procedures
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
