Respecting guest privacy and safeguarding their belongings is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute cleaning tasks in all guest and public areas following established checklists.
- Adhere to housekeeping standards and protocols.
- Respond promptly to special guest requests for items such as cribs, cots, and extra linens.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Work efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
- Communicate room readiness to the Front Desk in a timely manner.
- Report maintenance issues as necessary.
- Follow departmental policies and safety regulations.
- Assist other departments as needed to provide excellent service to guests.
- Sanitize all cleaning equipment at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Assist with laundry tasks as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned; the company reserves the right to modify responsibilities as needed.
- Compliance with housekeeping guidelines and protocols.
- Understanding of effective cleaning and sanitation methods.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Ability to navigate hallways and property perimeters.
- Capacity to twist, bend, reach, and pull.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
