About the Role:

Penske seeks a skilled and motivated Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in vehicle repair or those looking to start their career in a stable work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining vehicles to ensure they are safe for customers
  • Utilizing Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
  • Performing preventative maintenance repairs, such as replacing or rotating tires and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement
  • Partnering with managers to learn new skills and develop expertise

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary: $42,000 - $52,000
  • Shift premiums: 2nd Shift ($3.00), 3rd Shift ($4.00), Weekends ($2.00)
  • Excellent benefits package, including paid time off and holidays

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Bachelor's degree not required
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to solve problems and work independently
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
