Job Summary

The RN Quality Coordinator will assist the Director of Quality Management with all aspects of the hospital Quality Program. This includes data collection and presentation for quality, environment, infection control, quality control, and risk management. The successful candidate will also assist with implementation of the hospital quality plan, survey readiness, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with survey activities to ensure the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.
  • Assist with monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings.
  • Assist with reviews of quarterly quality improvement reports.
  • Perform all safety and EOC duties.
  • Perform monthly safety rounds and quality control surveillance.
  • Complete monthly quality-related data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist with employee training and education in the workplace.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure reporting requirements are met.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • RN licensure.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care, preferably with a focus on quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF.
