Contemporary Music Ministry Leader

Location: Chapel Setting
Duties:
- Provide Musical Direction for the Contemporary Worship Service, coordinating with the Praise and Worship Leader.
- Lead Musicians in a variety of instruments, including pianists, organists, guitarists, drummers, and woodwind players.
- Coordinate Weekly Music Rehearsals with the Praise and Worship Leader and Designated Chaplain.
- Support the Contemporary Praise and Worship Leader in their musical endeavors.
- Conduct One Worship Service per week and one rehearsal per weekday.
- Participate in Special Worship Services or rehearsals as needed.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a Contemporary-style worship service setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and congregants.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and standards of conduct.
- Active church membership and endorsement from current pastor or chaplain.
- Working knowledge of worship music in multi-cultural Christian settings.
- Ability to read music, play by ear, and lead instrumental accompaniment.
