Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a three-month contract position with the possibility of extension or full-time offer.
Responsibilities:- Process non-compound prescriptions and verify relevant information.
- Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations, including USP 797 and USP 800.
- Communicate with patients and answer phone calls.
- Dispense unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies.
- Participate in completing and documenting cleaning and monitoring activities for sterile compounding areas.
- Collaborate with the team to respond to pharmacy needs promptly.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in FL.
- At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience with sterile compounding.
