Job Title: Donation Attendant - Madison

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Ashtabula, Inc. in Madison. As a key member of our donation center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to donors, processing donations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class customer service to donors, ensuring a positive experience and building strong relationships with the community.
  • Process donations in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Goodwill's quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to Goodwill's safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, as needed.
  • Complete necessary equipment training, including pallet jack operation.
  • Follow safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous material handling experience a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds in an office and warehouse setting with prolonged lifting and standing. Bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling are also required. Direct contact with the public is expected, and exposure to environmental conditions in all weather is possible.
