Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Participating in ongoing education and training programs
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Graduation from an approved school of Respiratory Therapy or completion of the associate degree equivalency
- Successful passage of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) exam
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the Texas Department of State Health Services
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
