Clinical Psychiatrist Opportunity

Cedar Point Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychiatrist to provide high-quality mental health care to our patients in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  • Provide emergency intervention and ongoing care for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and translate complex behavioral health concepts into actionable insights.
  • Meet requirements for third-party payers through accurate billing procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of integrated behavioral health services at Cedar Point Health.
  • Ensure clinical excellence and consistency in service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Active, clean license to practice in Colorado.
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience as a clinical psychiatrist, with a strong foundation in mental health care.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Cedar Point Health guidelines and procedures.
  • Proactive approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to collaborative care.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care for patients with mental health issues.
  • Commitment to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the Cedar Point Health EMR system.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
  • MD/DO with residency in psychiatry.
  • 2-5 years of experience in patient treatment in a clinical setting.
