Volt is hiring a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to work on industrial controls in Fairfield, Ohio. This full-time position offers an estimated salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with DFM, DFA, and DFT guidelines in product designs through early involvement in the product development process. They will develop product test and equipment specifications, design and deploy specified test equipment, and supervise manufacturing prototype and pilot runs at electronic contract manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 10+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or production environments. You should also have a strong understanding of system design software, such as LabVIEW and TestStand, and proficiency in relational database architecture.

Technical Requirements:
  • General understanding of system design software (LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, etc)
  • Proficient in relational database architecture
  • Prior schematic capture/PCB generation experience in CAD software (AutoCAD preferred)
Work Details:

This is a full-time position that requires working onsite in Fairfield, Ohio. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the duration of the assignment is expected to be 6 months.
