This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a fast-paced labor and delivery department. You will have the chance to utilize your skills in a dynamic environment, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized nursing care to patients in labor, focusing on pain management, education, and support.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other medical staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all patients and staff.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, considering individual needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • A current Oregon RN license is required.
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Basic Fetal Monitoring skills are necessary.
  • NRP certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • STABLE certification is required within one year of hire.
  • Previous experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred but not essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Social Perceptiveness: Ability to interact with diverse populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Adaptability/Flexibility: Quick thinking and action in high-pressure situations.
  • Time Management: Organizing tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 40 pounds) and carrying.
  • Continuous manual dexterity and finger movements.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
