Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Proliance Surgeons. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to our surgeons and operating room team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care throughout the surgical experience.
  • Maintain a positive and caring attitude with patients, physicians, and staff.
  • Properly handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon based on requests and patterns.
  • Monitor the sterile field and ensure its maintenance.
  • Assist in ensuring the availability of proper supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
  • Verify equipment functionality and monitor supply usage.
  • Participate in inventory control and supply management.
  • Stay current with healthcare changes and continuing education requirements.
  • Exhibit professionalism in the workplace and community as a representative of Proliance Surgeons.
  • Take an active role in departmental committees.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
  • Current State licensure and CPR certification.
  • Two years of direct experience desired.
Work Environment

May require working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
