Job Description

The role of the Industrial Customer Service Specialist at DXP Enterprises involves providing exceptional support to customers through responsive communication, efficient order processing, and accurate information dissemination. This position plays a vital part in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring seamless delivery of products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
  • Efficiently processing customer phone orders, checking availability of stock, and providing shipping updates
  • Quoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications, and processing sales data via computer
  • Collaborating with the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products
  • Ensuring timely shipping and receiving operations

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with data entry, organization, and multi-tasking
  • Able to perform various physical demands, including lifting heavy boxes
