Job Description

At Lutheran Life Communities, we invite you to be a part of our Volunteer Program, where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.

Program Overview

The Volunteer Program is designed to provide support to our Life Enrichment Program, which focuses on enhancing the quality of life for our residents. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage with residents through various activities, including pet therapy, resident engagement, one-on-one conversations, crafts, salon services, and religious services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with pet therapy sessions to bring joy and comfort to our residents
  • Engage with residents through conversations, games, and activities to promote socialization and companionship
  • Participate in crafts and other creative activities to stimulate residents' minds and creativity
  • Provide salon services, such as haircuts and styling, to enhance residents' self-esteem and confidence
  • Assist with religious services and other spiritual activities to support residents' spiritual well-being

Requirements

  • Must be 12 years of age or older
