Medical Historian

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Historian to join our team at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. This is a full-time position with a weekend commitment and various shifts.

As a Medical Historian, you will be responsible for obtaining accurate and comprehensive medication histories of patients. You will conduct thorough interviews to gather complete information on patient medications, communicate with external sources to confirm current prescriptions, and evaluate patient adherence to medication regimens.

Your goal will be to accurately document current medication histories for physician review and reconciliation. To succeed in this role, you will require formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) and 3-5 years of experience in the field. PTCB certification and Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration are also mandatory.
