Key Responsibilities

Massage Therapists are tasked with ensuring they possess the necessary education and licensure to provide bodywork services in their respective states. They will:
  • Greet each guest warmly and introduce themselves professionally.
  • Prepare guests for their treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Review guest intake forms to gather essential information.
  • Administer a combination of 7-8 different massage and body treatments daily.
  • Inform guests about the benefits of the services provided.
  • Suggest enhancements that complement the chosen treatments and explain their advantages.
  • Educate guests on the products utilized during their services.
  • Recommend retail products for home care and provide usage instructions.
  • Communicate current spa promotions effectively.
  • Allow guests to relax by maintaining a low profile during treatments.
  • Document relevant guest information accurately.
  • Maintain the organization of treatment rooms and preparation areas.
  • Adhere to all spa policies and procedures.
  • Be willing to perform all service offerings and signature protocols.
  • Ensure an optimal environment with appropriate lighting, music, cleanliness, and aromatherapy.
  • Support team needs and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
  • Care for spa tools and equipment responsibly.
  • Follow safety, sterilization, and sanitation protocols diligently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Exhibit professionalism and discretion at all times.
  • Renew licensure as mandated by state regulations.
  • Engage in continuous education as required by state licensing and spa standards.
  • Uphold the integrity of the spa brand.

Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Massage license in the practicing state.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication abilities.
  • Capable of assessing guest needs and preferences.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills.
  • Effectively resolve issues as they arise.
  • Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with spa dress code.
  • Exhibit physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Spa Director.

Compensation

Compensation, hours, and pay may vary based on location and organizational needs. Hours are not guaranteed.
