Success in this role requires the ability to lead diverse functions or initiatives across various business disciplines, introducing innovative perspectives, data sources, technologies, and capabilities.Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the creation and execution of advanced analytics models to detect potential risks within our consumer finance operations.
• Examine data from various sources to produce actionable insights and recommendations for enhancing loss prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement loss prevention strategies that support our business goals.
• Assess current processes and systems to uncover opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of loss prevention initiatives.
• Proactively identify emerging risks and formulate strategies to mitigate potential threats to our organization.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Compliance, Operations, and Finance, to ensure that loss prevention efforts are in line with company policies and regulations.
• Lead initiatives aimed at continuously enhancing and innovating our loss prevention capabilities and processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science).
• 8+ years of experience in financial services, driving informed risk decisions through analysis; advanced degrees may compensate for experience.
• Advanced analytical skills using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, and Python.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to devise creative solutions to complex, data-driven challenges.
