About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team at Colwen Hotels. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
  • Table Management: Manage tables effectively, ensuring that guests receive prompt service and that tables are cleared and reset in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations, such as a sudden increase in guests or a kitchen delay.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Customer Service Focus: Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic Math Skills: Possess basic math skills to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
