Caregiving Opportunities at Village Caregiving
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking compassionate and responsible Caregivers to provide essential care-related services to our valued clients in the Boise, Idaho area. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing daily assistance, companionship, and emotional support to clients in their own homes or in a facility's assisted living setting. This is a Part Time - hourly, In-Home care role.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
We offer competitive pay of $16 to $20 per hour, paid semi-monthly. Additional benefits and bonus opportunities may be available.
**Responsibilities:**
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and daily assistance to our valued clients.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, such as bathing, using the toilet, dressing and undressing, eating, and walking.
• Monitor client's wellbeing and notify the appropriate parties should any changes arise.
• Plan and execute activities and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
• Help with daily housekeeping tasks, including light cleaning, laundry, and meal prep.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and other important activities.
**Requirements:**
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a hospice, home health, home care, memory care or other related fields
• Knowledge of how to sanitize and maintain a sterile environment
• Ability to handle physical labor as needed for transferring and moving clients
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work some weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check
