Medical Physicist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at a healthcare facility in Midland, TX. As a Medical Physicist, you will provide physics consultation to all Radiation Oncology personnel concerning aspects of patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced medical equipment, including the Varian 21iX Clinac, GE PET/CT, MOSAIQ ROIS, Eclipse, and RadCalc, to provide precise and effective treatment to patients.
  • Work alongside a team of board-certified radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, chief radiation therapists, and CT technicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure accurate treatment planning and execution by utilizing various QA tools, such as Profiler2, MapCheck2, SNC Routine, and 3D scanning system.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Medical Physics
  • Board certification (ABR)
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively to a group via phone/face-to-face
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical, math, physics skills, including data collection and problem-solving
  • Ability to resolve complex technical issues independently
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong time management skills
