About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lead Sales Associate to join our team at Dollar General. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Leadership: Provide superior customer service, greet and assist customers, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operational Excellence: Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Merchandise Management: Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with store team members to achieve sales goals, resolve issues, and maintain a positive store culture.
  • Store Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting tills, processing deposits, and maintaining store security.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • 6 Months of Supervisory Experience: Preferred
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Essential
  • Ability to Lift Up to 40 Pounds: Frequently
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Moderate Noise Level
