Job Overview:
Evergreen Fire and Security is a leading provider of life safety and security solutions for government entities and corporations. As a Senior Fire Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the design and implementation of fire and mass notification systems meet or exceed customer requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and estimate fire and mass notification system projects in compliance with company standards and contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and management to review project needs, create pre- and post-designs, and determine project timelines.
  • Evaluate required products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research; apply knowledge of fire and mass notification systems and their capabilities to meet Federal, State, and local regulations, code, and specifications.
  • Confirm life safety system and component capabilities.
  • Train and guide System Engineers, Technicians, and/or Project Managers through the design process.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; attending system certification courses.
  • Stay current with all applicable regulations, codes, and specifications.
  • Ability to multi-task several projects while ensuring accuracy, promptness, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working on military installations (desired).
  • NICET III - Fire Alarm Systems certification or higher.
  • Valid enhanced driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug, and MVR screenings.
