Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food in a timely and efficient manner
  • Follow all preparation steps according to quality-standardized recipes
  • Inspect all culinary equipment before and after use
  • Understand and adhere to proper food storage procedures
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four months of previous experience in food operations/preparation
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Serv-Safe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate to heavy physical demands. The noise level is usually moderate, but can increase to loud when on the casino floor. Associates must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
