Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer extended support, training, and instruction to users on the use of equipment, software, and manuals to resolve problems.
  • Determine and rectify PC hardware/software failures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create help tickets in ticket tracking software for all assistance requests.
  • Install or assist in the installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user premises.
  • Load specified software packages like operating systems, endpoint protection, CAT applications, office products, and other third-party programs on computers.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding system operation and diagnose system hardware, software, and operator issues.
  • Recommend or perform actions to correct problems, including assisting network, telecom, and server teams with on/offsite issues when necessary.
  • Provide updates, status, and completion information to supervisors, problem request tracking systems, and/or users via voice mail, email, or in-person communication.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or four (4) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows 10 Pro and working knowledge of Windows Server 2016-2022.
  • Expert productivity software knowledge of the O365 suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server OS, DHCP, DNS, VMware, IP Networking, SCCM, and WSUS.
  • Understanding of mobile device management software, Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) platforms, and cloud methodologies.
