Sciolex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Systems Engineer to join our team. As a DevSecOps Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping us identify and plan new capabilities to support mission operations.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in applying DevSecOps concepts, processes, and tools to help the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations.
- Analysis and Development: Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop system requirements and test-driven development.
- CI/CD Delivery: Define CI/CD delivery standards and conventions to ensure quality and compliance with security measures (NIST Risk Management Framework) and streamline onboarding of applications.
- Pipeline Configuration: Guide the configuration of CI/CD pipeline setup and support/resolve technical complexities to integrate various DevSecOps continuous practices as part of the implementation.
- Automated Solutions: Recommend and implement automated means that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including scripting, integration, problem resolution, and configuration management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with developers, stakeholders, and leaders to incorporate security principles into engineering design and deployments.
- Maturity Models: Define maturity models or assessment approaches to measure and accelerate DevSecOps adoption across multiple teams.
- Risk Management: Identify and communicate system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to government points of contact.
- Communication: Effectively communicate and interface with engineers from various contractors and government organizations.
- Briefings and Presentations: Develop briefings for a variety of audiences, conveying system engineering concepts and decision logic concisely and accurately.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar STEM field and nine (9) years or more experience; relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
- DevSecOps Experience: 4+ years of experience with DevSecOps and tools.
- IC Experience: 2+ years' experience working within the IC.
- Systems Development Methodologies: Experience with systems development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps).
- Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- CONOPS Requirements: Experience with CONOPS requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture development.
- Program Lifecycle: Program lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations, and maintenance, decommission.
- Communication and Collaboration: Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with limited supervision; excels at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics.
- Technical Direction: Ability to provide technical and programmatic direction on the development, integration, and use of digital engineering/model-based engineering and model-based systems engineering concepts and structures.
- Communication Skills: Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builder.
- Software Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project.
