Job Overview The selected candidate will be responsible for the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals utilized in both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within an outpatient framework, employing a variety of equipment while adhering to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will conduct Cardiac Nuclear studies in alignment with the department's established protocols and guidelines.
- This role is primarily based in an outpatient imaging facility and is dedicated to serving the outpatient demographic in a clinical imaging context.
- The Technologist may also provide services at various affiliated off-site locations that collaborate with Physician Aligned practices and other outpatient facilities.
Adheres to radiation safety protocols regarding the handling and disposal of radioactive substances.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
2. Graduation from an AMA accredited Nuclear Medicine program is mandatory.
3. Prior experience in an office-based environment is advantageous.
4. Relevant certification specific to the role or an associate/technical degree in a related discipline is required.
5. Possession of all necessary licenses and certifications to perform the duties of a Technician at the state and/or national level.
6. Ability to prioritize daily tasks for a team; provide guidance and support to staff on complex or escalated matters.
7. Collaborate with management in the formulation and validation of methodologies, techniques, and analytical strategies.
8. Serve as a mentor and role model for team members in technical competencies.
