We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Program team at Ascension Via Christi. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and protocols.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Trauma Program, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team, including physicians and other nurses.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 1 year ICU experience, Trauma experience preferred.
