Oncology Registered Nurse Case Manager

Are you dedicated to the field of Oncology? Nebraska Cancer Specialists is seeking an experienced Oncology RN Case Manager to enhance our patient care team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and determine appropriate interventions based on clinical expertise and teamwork.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Communicate patient care matters with healthcare providers as necessary.
- Manage medication orders through the E-Scribe system within our electronic medical records.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions in their electronic charts.
- Oversee the fax machine to ensure timely processing of communications.
- Provide patient education as directed by healthcare providers.
- And more as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A valid Registered Nursing License in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of experience in oncology nursing and/or telephone triage is preferred.
