Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Med Surg

Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in a reputable hospital.

Job Description:

  • Assessment skills: Perform thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive, and accurate.
  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrate competent clinical skills and provide competent and appropriate nursing care to the population of the unit.
  • Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate documentation and assume primary responsibility for documenting components of the nursing process and patient's progress.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate professional practice responsibility and knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Respond to patient's/families and co-workers in a professional, courteous, positive manner to promote an environment where the patient and family is at the center.
  • Safety: Follow the National Patient Safety Goals and use safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics for self and patient's.
  • Unit Specific Job Function: Demonstrate knowledge of the conditions/diagnoses, procedures, and equipment encountered for surgical patient's.
  • Responsibility and Accountability: Contribute to the perioperative team by assuming responsibility and accountability for directing patient care.

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience
  • BLS - Required
  • RN License - Required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
