POSITION SUMMARY
As a Mixology Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to craft beverage orders for patrons according to established recipes and precise measuring techniques. You will be responsible for the presentation and serving of wine and champagne, ensuring the bar area is clean and well-maintained. This includes preparing fresh garnishes, stocking essential supplies such as ice and glassware, and transporting items to the bar setup area.
Key duties include washing used glassware, managing soiled items, and anticipating replenishment needs. You will also handle various payment methods, perform cash counting at the end of your shift, and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved. Security of alcoholic beverages and proper storage is paramount, along with completing closing responsibilities.
Adherence to company policies regarding safety and security is crucial. You will report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management and complete necessary safety training. Maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information is expected. You will greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, proactively addressing their service needs and expressing gratitude for their patronage.
Effective communication with colleagues is essential to foster a positive work environment. You will be expected to support team objectives and respond to employee concerns appropriately. Upholding quality standards and expectations is a key aspect of your role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
