Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis and Planning

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst II to oversee the financial aspects of our operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Aggregating and validating asset-level operating and financial metrics.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed financial models to provide projected property-level cash flows and valuations.
  • Producing regular financial reports for company stakeholders and lenders.
  • Managing financial aspects of construction disbursements, including accurate and timely payment processing, budget tracking, and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals and strategic objectives.
  • Calculating property-level investment metrics and providing sensitivity analyses for potential leasing, redevelopment, and sale scenarios.
  • Reviewing and facilitating transactions between properties and the fund level, including capital calls, distributions, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and fee payments.
  • Reviewing month-end asset-level financial statements to ensure conformity to GAAP.
  • Coordinating with external auditors and tax firms on annual financial statements.
  • Assisting in managing fund and property liquidity, including reviewing expenses and allocations.
  • Interacting with internal stakeholders, including senior-level managers and brokerage, leasing, property management, accounting, marketing, architecture, and construction teams.
  • Assisting with market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact current and potential investments.
  • Monitoring the performance of portfolio companies and providing ongoing analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis requests as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. CFA or MBA is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced MS Excel proficiency and proficiency with other tools in the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and a strong understanding of the industry landscape is a plus.
