Position Overview

Tact Staff is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Specialty: CVICU
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Shift Type: 12-hour shifts
  • Employment Type: Travel

The role involves caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABGs)
- Valve repairs and replacements
- Aortic surgeries
- Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs)
- Total artificial hearts
- Heart, liver, and kidney transplants
- Thoracic cases and vascular surgeries

Essential skills include:
- Invasive hemodynamic monitoring
- Administration and titration of vasoactive IV medications
- Post-operative recovery care
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
- Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management
