The estimated salary for this position is $52,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
As a Pantry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality ingredients for use in salads, appetizers, and other cold dishes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare dressings, sauces, and other condiments to enhance the flavor and presentation of our dishes.
- Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for salads and other cold dishes, ensuring they are fresh and of the highest quality.
- Plate and garnish dishes to ensure a visually appealing presentation.
- Manage inventory and restock pantry supplies to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients by implementing effective food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience as a Pantry Cook or similar role, demonstrating expertise in food preparation and presentation.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail, enabling precise cutting and preparation of ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Good verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the needs of our restaurant.
**Physical Requirements**
- Prolonged periods standing and preparing food, requiring stamina and endurance.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, ensuring safe handling and storage of ingredients and equipment.
