Muriale's Italian Restaurant is seeking an experienced Pantry Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team.

The estimated salary for this position is $52,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a Pantry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality ingredients for use in salads, appetizers, and other cold dishes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare dressings, sauces, and other condiments to enhance the flavor and presentation of our dishes.
  • Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for salads and other cold dishes, ensuring they are fresh and of the highest quality.
  • Plate and garnish dishes to ensure a visually appealing presentation.
  • Manage inventory and restock pantry supplies to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients by implementing effective food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience as a Pantry Cook or similar role, demonstrating expertise in food preparation and presentation.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail, enabling precise cutting and preparation of ingredients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Good verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the needs of our restaurant.

**Physical Requirements**

  • Prolonged periods standing and preparing food, requiring stamina and endurance.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, ensuring safe handling and storage of ingredients and equipment.
