Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee activities within the sports center, including games and recreational events, ensuring safety and compliance with established rules.
  • Assist members with the setup and proper use of equipment, offering guidance and support as necessary.
  • Ensure a clean and organized environment in the sports center, including the setup and takedown of equipment before and after events.
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive environment for all members, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.
  • Effectively communicate with members, addressing inquiries or concerns and providing necessary assistance.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow staff to coordinate game schedules and ensure the seamless operation of activities.


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in sports officiating or recreational supervision, with a solid understanding of rules and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with members of diverse age groups.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure, making swift and accurate decisions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
