Job Overview

The primary role of the Outdoor Equipment Service Technician is to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental machinery, retail equipment, and customer-owned tools. The range of equipment serviced may include small engine devices as well as larger diesel-powered machinery, depending on the specific requirements of the location and the technician's expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance upon leaving the service area.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections on all serviced equipment.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize the risk of breakdowns and service interruptions.
  • Keep the workshop and surrounding areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standards set by the company and governing bodies.
  • Complete all necessary training as mandated by manufacturers.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience with similar machinery.
  • Completion of relevant trade school programs is preferred.
