We are looking for a dedicated Director of Nursing to oversee the development, planning, execution, and management of all medical department functions within a substance abuse treatment organization. This leadership role is crucial in ensuring that all medical services adhere to established standards and regulations, while also complying with licensing and credentialing requirements.

The Director will be responsible for acquiring and managing all medical services contracts and vendor relationships, collaborating with various departments to uphold Quality Assurance and Improvement standards.

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a team of licensed medical professionals, driving the achievement of organizational objectives and performance metrics. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and a visionary CEO. The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $120,000-$135,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package and a signing bonus. The role is balanced with 60% focused on leadership and administrative responsibilities and 40% on patient care, presenting a well-rounded experience. There is significant visibility in this position, with potential for advancement into Corporate roles or as a Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the development, planning, and management of the medical department.
  2. Ensure adherence to established healthcare standards and regulations.
  3. Manage contracts and relationships with medical service providers.
  4. Lead and mentor medical staff to foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  1. BSN required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  2. Three to five years of experience in addiction treatment preferred.
  3. Current RN License in the State of California.
  4. Certification in Addiction preferred.
  5. Proficient in reading and interpreting written information; capable of clear and informative writing; adept at editing for accuracy.
  6. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to groups.
  7. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
