  • Our facility features 25 private patient rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center, a Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostic services, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

The Phlebotomist serves as a vital laboratory professional responsible for performing various specimen collection techniques, including but not limited to: venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection guidance, and specimen culture collection.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy or medical assistant program with clinical experience or prior phlebotomy experience.
  • Certification from a nationally recognized agency, which may include:
    • National Healthcareer Association – Certified Phlebotomy Technician: CPT (NHA)
    • American Society for Clinical Pathology – Phlebotomy Technician: PBT (ASCP)
    • American Medical Technologists – Registered Phlebotomy Technician: RPT (AMT)
    • National Center for Competency Testing – National Certified Phlebotomy Technician: NCPT (NCCT)
    • American Certification Agency – Certified Phlebotomy Technician: CPT (ACA)
  • Proficiency in hospital laboratory information systems and strong customer service abilities.
  • Experience in a clinical environment.
