Position Summary:

As a vital member of our bar team, the Barback plays an essential role in supporting bartenders and ensuring smooth operations. Under the guidance of the Bar Manager, the Barback is responsible for anticipating the needs of the bar staff and maintaining a well-stocked and organized bar area.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Stock Levels: Ensure the bar is fully stocked with beverages, glassware, and supplies before and during service hours.
  • Preparation and Replenishment: Prepare garnishes, refill ice, change beer kegs, and restock necessary items as required.
  • Guest Interaction: Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or needs.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the bar area clean and organized by wiping surfaces, sweeping, and managing waste.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with bartenders and other staff to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and guests.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid permit to serve alcohol as required by local regulations.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
